I went for some sod for my catio and I got just the right amount! The ladies in the office were so nice! The man that directed me to the ladies was so nice and I man who loaded it into the back of my car was so nice!I’m so happy with how it turned out! Thanks so much!

This was an amazing shopping experience! Doreen and her team are not only knowledgeable, but made picking our trees and shrubs fun! Doreen had a lot of really great suggestions for us that actually will save us a lot of time and money in the future! When landscaping, you must go to Blue Grass. We will be back!

I’ve ordered from them before with no issue, but this time has been terrible.No product delivered, no communication whatsoever. Ordered May 7th and promised a delivery of soil May 13 or earlier. May 13 arrives, wait until sundown and nothing arrives.Call on Sunday only to be passed off three times and eventually told that their systems were malfunctioning so they lost everyone’s order. Not clear on why the company couldn’t be proactive at all in contacting customers instead of leaving them with no product and no communication. Finally talk to someone who seems to be the right person, he says he’ll have us a bag May 15th. At first he says they don’t deliver on Sunday’s, then says he would try to get us the bag Sunday if they have space. Monday May 15th arrives, waited until sundown again to see there is no delivery. Again, no one bothered to contact me saying it wouldn’t arrive. At this point I doubt they will ever follow through. Took time off work to landscape just to be jerked around. Will call again tomorrow and be filing chargeback if they refuse to deliver the product.***** Update: after waiting 3 hours for a call back and having a condescending staff tell us we didn’t talk to someone on Sunday (the person saying this was the same person we talked to Sunday), our soil was delivered later in the afternoon. No apology or recognition of their screw up. Never dealing with them again.

I checked them out for the first time today and I was so excited!!! The staff is amazing, the location is great! Google takes you to the truckers entrance but if you turn at the first road instead of the driveway looking thing you'll be set.My kids LOVED the little playground and honestly it was hard for all of us to leave!!! My plants look great, they were crazy affordable and again- the staff was so awesome and helpful. I can't wait until they are more established and bring what they have in Red Deer up this way. We are lucky yeg!

If I could give them 6 stars I would! I recently went to Bluegrass to get topsoil and sod after our lawn had died for the past two years. After speaking with Jeff, and showing him photos of the lawn, he advised that it was most likely a topsoil issue. Sure enough he was right and I only had about an inch or two of topsoil and then pure clay.Jeff was so helpful that it felt like I was dealing with a small town friend. He offered to discount the sod as we had previously bought sod from there before. We dumped the old clay and dirt at the yard, and was told it would be no charge.This place and Jeff were amazing to deal with. They know how to do customer service right and will do everything they can to help a person. I will absolutely go back there for anything yard related that I need and would refer anyone to go there. If you want to be treated right and experience top notch customer service go to Bluegrass.

Edit - I am changing my review of Blue Grass Nursery - I bought 3 bags of product, 2 bags of soil and 1 of cedar mulch, back in March that were delivered to my house, I’m new to gardening and appreciate the company owner helping me work with the problems that have developed in my gardening project - very personable owners

Love these folks!! Have been getting soil deliveries from them for two seasons now and the quality of the soil is great, the delivery service is extremely easy and stress free! The customer service is also exceptional, the team is friendly and go above and beyond! Will definitely be using them for all my future soil needs :)

The best staff to deal with. Great product and excellent service. Annessa and Doreen were great to deal with. KOBE IS THE BEST STAFF THERE TOO. They even stayed open extra 10 minutes just because of me. Highly recommended.
